Founded in 1950, Pied Piper is a parent-participation cooperative preschool located in Walnut Creek, California. We have a very large outdoor area, where children are encouraged to join circle time and have snack, as they learn in a safe and positive environment. With more than 50 years of experience building family relationships, we offer a balance of developmentally appropriate activities in a warm and nurturing environment with daily activities, free choice time, and hands-on materials designed to meet the social, cognitive, emotional and physical needs of children.

Welcome to Pied Piper Preschool

Pied Piper Preschool is constantly monitoring best practices and advice issued by the local County and State to provide a safe environment for its children and Teachers. Pied Piper is also a Green Organization. We have made the transition to non-toxic, environmentally friendly cleaning products. Additionally, we recycle and compost. There is a 'Green Committee' in place that researches products and practices so that we are up-to-date on the latest green recommendations for the safety of our families.
